How I love the morning - the clarity, the promise, the newness of Life! Can we forget that we are being made and that we not what we are because of ourselves? How dare we, I often think, to attribute to us what belongs to our Creator, contemplating with utter wonder the tiniest members of creation, so infinitely beyond what I could ever even think of creating.
Are we being transported through space on planet earth by our own volition? Who made creation? Look closer and see the spiritual power behind it - this movement is not material, but MIND moving creation forward. This creation isn't material, but rich in infinity, variety, and individuality.
Morning time is listening time to holy thoughts of reverence. Listening means originally honoring, and morning is the time of day to dedicate to our Maker. And then we are ready to move forward, showing up, ready to love, as Kate Mullane Robertson would say.
This poem was sent to me by a friend. I am passing it on to you!
Wake to find God ever present;
Let the dreams of darkness flee.
Pray to see the one creation
Where the child of Truth is free.
Rise to prove from tireless Being,
Life divine, is strength received.
Clothe yourself in garments holy,
Soul-derived and Mind-conceived.
Feed upon the heavenly manna,
Love's provision for today.
Walk with joy as Spirit leads you
Step by step along the way.
