When trying to convey something of the joy and love of living in divine Love I feel that it helps to talk about picking and choosing. In his fabulous list of life hacks St. Paul writes:
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. (St Paul)
Spiritual living is very practical: hesitation is no part of it. With a sober mind we test everything from events in the past, and circumstances, to decisions. Things which happened to us and things we imposed on others. We put on the table in front of us beliefs and thoughts, the words we may have used and the words we use often, actions we perform and habits we entertain, the values we hold dear and the destiny we think is ours to follow. Everything can be looked at, checked, tested, squeezed, turned over, unwrapped, hold up to the light, tasted, touched, proven. Always. And then we keep only what is good.
